Dufferin Simcoe Land Stewardship Network

The Dufferin Simcoe Land Stewardship Network (DSLSN) is a non-profit corporation made up of volunteers who provide their interests, efforts and skills to promote environmental stewardship practices in Dufferin and Simcoe Counties. We work with landowners and other community stakeholders to promote stewardship projects that will result in a healthier, more sustainable environment. Check out Who We AreĀ for more information about our membership.

Currently our main focus is the Connecting Communities and Creeks project to improve local water quality and aquatic habitat. The project is a collaborative effort led by Nottawasaga Futures under their South Simcoe Streams Network Program and the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority. We promote opportunities for people to support restoration projects that improve water quality, restore fish and wildlife habitat, and enhance stream health in the Nottawasaga River watershed. This project is made possible with funding support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
