The Dufferin Simcoe Land Stewardship Network is a registered, community-based, not for profit organization comprised of a volunteer board of directors and technical advisors. Selection of directors and executive members is determined through a nomination and election process as part of an Annual General Meeting. The board of directors and technical advisors meet quarterly to review and approve financial and other programming activities, and to modify work planning decisions and general programming direction. The operational procedures and organizational structure of the Dufferin Simcoe Land Stewardship Network is guided under operating by-laws.
The network’s vision and general programming direction are guided under a long-term strategic plan.
Members and advisors may participate or lead in specific work plan activities and may represent the interests of a partnering organization or agency. Staff compliments for the network vary annually, and are usually associated with specific program activities. A specific list of the current board of directors and technical advisors can be found under Board Members and Advisors.
