The Dufferin Simcoe Land Stewardship Network implements several educational field events, workshops, and exhibits at a number of local events each year. Financial, technical, and other assistance programs vary annually and are based on the availability of funds and on the delivery capacity of the network.  The Network also implements or supports some longer-term program initiatives including Butternut Recovery & Monitoring, the restoration of the Lafontaine creek sub-watershed, restoration activities of the South Simcoe streams Network, and community tree planting projects affiliated with the Simcoe County Priority Tree Planting Program. The network periodically contributes funding support to partner organizations in priority stewardship applications. Program expenditures are defined within an annual operating budget.
